Our methodology
Every business ranking on this page comes from real queries submitted to four AI platforms during March 2026. We do not estimate, model, or infer these results. Each business either appeared in a platform's response or it did not. Below are the score definitions in full, a worked example showing exactly how the CIS is calculated, and every prompt we used.
AI Recommendation Share
The percentage of all tracked queries where this business appeared in AI results. Calculated per platform, then averaged across all four. A score of 48.3% means the business appeared in responses to 48.3% of the 60 queries run this month. This is the primary ranking signal and the most direct measure of AI recommendation frequency.
Composite Index Score
A weighted score combining four independent signals. Frequency alone does not distinguish a business that is recommended confidently across all platforms from one that appears once on a single platform. The CIS corrects for that. It rewards depth and consistency of recommendation, not just raw volume. Scores range from 0 to 1.
